The Tigers played a loaded schedule this spring and ended in the national top 10, and a big part of that was Carcaterra’s performance. She racked up 55 goals and also tossed out 25 assists, a nod to her ability and willingness to make plays as more than just a pure scorer. She’s a problem as both a righty and lefty shooter and has a very creative offensive game. Her lacrosse IQ is through the roof and she’s capable of taking over a game at a moment’s notice. Carcaterra’s poise, patience and gamebreaking ability make her a unique recruit.
